Bariatric surgery for adolescents living with severe obesity is an evidence-based treatment. Patient education materials (PEM) are necessary to prepare patients for surgery. We conducted an environmental scan of centers across North America that offer bariatric surgery to adolescents to assess the suitability of their electronic PEM (ePEM).
